About Roberts Lawn & Landscaping

Charleston grew up where the Elk River pours into the Kanawha, and the old neighborhoods of the East End still hold the grand porches and deep, shady lots of an earlier century. Roberts Lawn & Landscaping brings both mowing and landscape work to this river city, where a yard is often as much about its plantings as its grass. Autumn evenings belong to the East End: maples flaring along the boulevard, cool air sliding down off the hills, leaves drifting onto every lawn. Keeping turf healthy and beds shaped through that turn of the year gives a house its proper frame. It is satisfying work, an older home with a freshly edged walk and the whole street glowing in late October light.
