Tree trimming and removal is patient work, all rope and read-the-lean, and it ends in a chip pile, a raked ground, and a yard that suddenly has more sky in it. Landscaping is the other half of the trade: bed edges recut, shrubs brought back, the bones of a property made plain before winter strips it down. Cold drops off the ridge quickly here in November, and there is real pride in being finished ahead of it.
