About ASmithServices LLC.

Late afternoon light comes down Main Street in Buckhannon at a low angle, catching the brick fronts and the long shadows of the maples. ASmithServices LLC works the hours on either side of it — the yards behind the storefronts, the side streets that run off toward the river, the lots that need mowing, edging and a tidy-up before the weekend. The work here is measured in straight lines: a border cut sharp along the sidewalk, a strip of grass beside the alley left even end to end. Upshur County grass comes on fast after a warm rain, and staying ahead of it is its own kind of rhythm. Anyone who has driven home to a lawn already finished knows what that is worth.
