Parker & Sons Lawn Care & Maintenance

About Parker & Sons Lawn Care & Maintenance

Before six, a towboat pushing coal barges down past the township makes a sound you feel more than hear, and the fog on the water is still deciding whether to lift. Parker & Sons Lawn Care & Maintenance is usually already loading by then — mowers in the growing months, plow and spreader once the valley freezes. Summer visits mean cut lines, trimmed borders, cleared drives and the debris carted off rather than blown into a neighbor's hedge. Winter means opening driveways at an hour nobody wants, shoveling the steps that lead up from the street, and treating the ice that forms out of river damp overnight. Working a property through both halves of the year builds a kind of familiarity you can see in the result.
