Oscar's Lawn Care

About Oscar's Lawn Care

By October the river at Wolf River runs dark and cold, and the maples along the town's roads burn orange against a hard blue sky. Geese pass over in ragged lines, and every gust brings another layer of leaves down onto the lawns below. Oscar's Lawn Care meets that turn of the year with an unhurried kind of patience: a last cut set at the right height before frost, leaves cleared so the grass can breathe under the coming snow, edges tidied one final time. It is the work that decides how a yard wakes up in April. Oscar's takes pride in leaving each Wolf River lawn ready to rest.
