About Scenic Landscape Co

Stand anywhere on the edge of Whitelaw in late June and the view earns the company its name: contoured fields rolling east under a high sky, silos catching the last light, and in the near foreground, somebody's lawn — which is where Scenic Landscape Co does its work. They treat the yard as the first hundred feet of all that scenery, mowing it clean, trimming it sharp, keeping the beds and borders from going shaggy against so much open country. Manitowoc County grass grows thick on this heavy ground, and keeping it composed takes regular, attentive passes. The craft is in making the near view worthy of the far one. When it is done right, you cannot tell where the care stops and the countryside begins.
