About Sioux River Services

Up in Ashland County, Lake Superior writes the weather and everyone else just reads it. When the lake-effect machine turns on over Chequamegon Bay, snow falls in feet, not inches, and it keeps falling while the rest of the state gets a dusting. Sioux River Services works inside that arithmetic — plowing and clearing through the deep months so drives stay open between the birches, then pivoting to the brief, intense green of a northern summer, when lawns along the White River country grow like they know how short their season is. Mowing, trimming, cleanup, plowing, ice: the full northwoods rotation. Keeping a place livable this far north is a real craft, and there is genuine pride in doing it where winter plays for keeps.
