About Sommers Land Service LLC

Westford is the kind of Dodge County township where the fields lean gently down toward Beaver Dam Lake and spring announces itself with red-winged blackbirds shouting from the cattails. Sommers Land Service LLC starts its season in that racket, making the first cut of May when the grass is almost too eager to keep up with. Through the summer they keep lawns along the lake roads and farmsteads mowed, trimmed, and cleaned up, so the green near the house looks as deliberate as the crop rows beyond it. There is a quiet pride in land kept well in a place where everyone can read land at a glance. When the light goes long over the water in the evening, a fresh-cut yard here looks exactly like what it is: cared for.
