About Zanski's Yard Serivce

April in Washington County starts with the ice going soft and gray on Big Cedar Lake, and then one warm week arrives and every lawn in West Bend needs cutting on the same Saturday. Zanski's Yard Serivce meets that rush, taking the first pass of the year off yards that have been flat and matted under snow since December. There is nothing quite like that opening cut — the color coming back up behind the mower, the smell of it, the raked-out corners where winter left its grit and sticks. Beds get cleared, edges get reestablished, and the shape of a property returns after months of having no shape at all. From there it is a steady rhythm of mowing and trimming, holding that first-cut sharpness clear through the long green middle of a Wisconsin summer.
