Zanski's Yard Service

About Zanski's Yard Service

Take the back roads north of West Bend toward the Glacial Blue Hills on an early September evening and the whole county goes amber for twenty minutes, crickets loud in the ditches, dew already forming while the sun is still up. Zanski's Yard Service works right up to that last light, finishing the day's lawns while the air turns cool enough to feel on the arms. September grass grows differently than August grass — quicker, greener, glad of the cooler nights — and it takes a cut well, holding its stripes and its edges for days. Trimming closes out each yard, tight along the foundation and the mailbox post, the walks blown clean before the truck pulls away. Driving out with the light going and a row of finished lawns behind you is a good way to end a day's work.
