Turf & Tree Worx

About Turf & Tree Worx

At the north end of town the Milwaukee River drops over the Barton dam beside the old grist mill, and the streets up there run under oaks big enough to darken a whole block at noon. Turf & Tree Worx works West Bend under those trees and out past them, mowing and trimming through the growing months when the shade makes turf a puzzle worth solving. Snow changes the assignment but not the standard: plowing drives, opening walks, clearing the apron so the mailbox and the sidewalk are actually reachable. Wisconsin wind will fill a cleared drive back in by mid-morning if a pile gets stacked in the wrong spot, so it goes where the drifting will not undo the work. Two very different seasons, one steady result — a property that looks looked-after in July and is passable at six in the morning in February.
