About SKB Lawn Care

Four in the morning in January, and a clipper has already slid down out of the northwest and laid another four inches across Washington County while everybody slept. SKB Lawn Care is out in it — plow lights swinging across driveways, walks opened up, the pile pushed to the corner where it will not block the view backing out. There is a particular satisfaction in a drive that is bare and salted before the first commuter has even found their keys, and in the fact that nobody had to think about it. Come June the same streets turn into mowing routes, and the work changes hands from steel blade to mower deck without missing a beat. Cut, trim, edge, blow off the walk, move on — the plainest sort of pride there is, a town's yards kept in order one address at a time.
