About Schumacher Landscaping

An August evening at Regner Park is about as good as West Bend gets — the pond going flat and gold, somebody tuning up near the band shell, kids still in the water long after they were called. Schumacher Landscaping keeps the town's home lawns in that same evening condition, the green even and the borders held. Mowing through a Wisconsin August means reading the heat: cutting a little higher when July has baked the ground, letting the turf shade its own roots until the nights turn cool again. Edges get their own attention, because a driveway line that has gone soft and shaggy will undo an otherwise handsome yard from thirty feet away. It is ordinary work and it shows immediately, which is the whole appeal — pull out of the drive at dusk and the place simply looks cared for.
