About AW TREE LLC

Autumn arrives in West Bend from the top down, oak by oak, along the wooded ridges of the Kettle Moraine north of the city. AW TREE LLC works the lawns and grounds underneath all that color — cutting while the grass still grows, shaping hedges and shrubs, and hauling off the leaves that pile against fences by the last week of October. There is a plain satisfaction in a yard raked bare under empty branches, the turf breathing again before the ground hardens. Beds get their edges reset and their mulch topped, and the summer's overgrowth is cut back to a shape that will look right come April. Around here the leaves always come; the work is making the ground beneath them look tended.
