About Sunday Morning Landscaping

There is an hour on a summer morning when West Allis is at its softest: sprinklers ticking, produce stalls setting up near National Avenue, and block after block of small square lawns waiting for the week to begin. Sunday Morning Landscaping mows those lawns and dresses the terrace strips between sidewalk and curb, where city grass takes the hardest wear of all. Straight stripes, a clean line along the walk, close trimming around the fence posts and the old maple roots — the details a narrow lot puts on display. Spring cleanups pull the winter's grit out of the beds; fall cleanups take the leaves before they mat down over the turf. The reward is simple and it never gets old: a yard so tidy the whole block looks better standing next to it.
