About Snow Plow Solutions

West Allis keeps its snow in the alleys — behind every block of brick bungalows runs a narrow lane and a row of garage aprons, and that is where a winter is really won or lost. Snow Plow Solutions works those back lanes and the driveways off Beloit Road in the blue hour, when the streetlights still hold and the headlights find nothing ahead but white. Blade comes down, salt goes out, and a path opens from the garage door to the curb before the coffee has gone cold. There is a particular satisfaction in a walk cleared down to the bare slab and squared off at the corners, the way a shoveled edge ought to look. When a storm parks over Milwaukee County and leaves a foot behind it overnight, the work simply starts earlier.
