About Apex Property Maintenance

An Alberta clipper reaches West Allis fast and dry, usually well after midnight, and by two in the morning the lots along Beloit Road are one unbroken white field. Apex Property Maintenance works that hour — plowing, stacking the piles where they belong, clearing walks and door approaches, laying salt where meltwater will refreeze before sunrise. There is a particular satisfaction in a lot that opens at six as though nothing happened overnight. The trucks go back out when the wind fills in what was already cleared, because that is what wind does here. Nobody sees the night shift; everybody sees the morning.
