Ground Crew Service

About Ground Crew Service

Highway 100 never really sleeps, and the lots along Mayfair Road have to be open and passable whether it is a February whiteout or a green Tuesday in July. Ground Crew Service works that stretch of Wauwatosa on both counts. Winter nights mean pushing snow into stacked piles, cutting the entrances and aisles wide, shoveling out the door fronts by hand, and laying salt where meltwater refreezes at the low spots. Summer swings the other way — decks down, grass cut on rotation, trimmed along every sign base and light pole, edged where turf meets asphalt. Cleanups at each shoulder of the year clear the leaves and winter litter so a property never looks neglected between seasons. Grounds kept usable, morning after morning, in every kind of weather this town gets.
