About Urban & Sons, LLC

On the coldest mornings in Rothschild, the steam from the mill stacks stands straight up — the village's own weather report, telling you the night went well below zero. Urban & Sons, LLC is already out in it by then, plowing driveways and clearing walks so the day can start on time. When the Marathon County winter finally stands down, the same hands turn to grass: mowing, trimming, and seasonal cleanups across the village and its neighbors along the river. It is both-ends-of-the-thermometer work, and the standard doesn't change with the temperature — pavement scraped bare in January, borders cut clean in July. In a village that has always worked through its winters, that feels exactly right.
