Silver Mist

About Silver Mist

On summer mornings the Crystal River gives up a thin fog that lies over the low ground until the sun lifts it, and Waupaca wakes under a silver ceiling. Silver Mist starts in that hour — mowing while the air is still cool, trimming close along beds and fences, edges cut and clippings cleared before the heat settles in. When the year turns, the same routes come back under snow: driveways plowed, walks shoveled, the shaded stretches treated where ice likes to hold. There is a rhythm to keeping one property all year; you learn its slope, its dark corner, the low spot where water always sits. Done well, nobody living there ever has to think about any of it.
