OUTLAND Commercial

About OUTLAND Commercial

At four in the morning along Waukesha's west-side business corridor, the parking lots are a blank page, and OUTLAND Commercial is the first to write on it. Plows push the night's accumulation into square banks at the lot lines, walks are opened, and by the time the first cars turn in the pavement is dark and passable. In the warm half of the year the same properties get mowed and edged, the turf held even from the entrance drive to the far row. Storms here tend to arrive on a northwest wind with little in the way of warning, which makes that pre-dawn hour the whole job. Ground work done well is invisible on purpose — nobody should have to think about the surface under their feet.
