About Jerry Hepp Excavating Inc

At two in the morning the county roads outside Watertown are a single unbroken white, and the difference between a lane that opens and a lane that doesn't is whether someone is willing to be out in it. Jerry Hepp Excavating Inc runs the winter side of that equation, pushing snow off long farm lanes, wide yards and commercial lots where the drifts build deepest and the piles have to go somewhere sensible. Heavy ground takes heavy equipment and a plan for where the snow will sit in March, not just tonight. There is real pride in a lot opened wide before the first truck arrives, black pavement showing corner to corner while the fields around it stay buried. When the sun comes up on a place that can simply get to work, the night has done its job.
