About Javi's Landscaping LLC

On September mornings the fog comes off the water and settles over Watertown's low streets, so that a yard reveals itself a few feet at a time as you walk it. Javi's Landscaping LLC starts in that soft grey hour — mowing once the mist burns off, trimming close around trees and posts, edging drives and sidewalks, and clearing the yard of what the wind brought down overnight. Early fall is generous to grass; it grows again after the punishment of August, and a well-timed cut gives it back its depth. By the time the sun is fully up, whole blocks have been made orderly, one lawn handing off to the next. That is the pleasure of a route done right — turning around at the end of the street and seeing the morning's work laid out behind you.
