Gibson Lawn Service

About Gibson Lawn Service

September softens the light on Watertown's older side streets, where cream-colored brick and deep front porches sit back behind long open lawns. Gibson Lawn Service works those blocks — mowing, trimming, running the edger along each square of sidewalk, and lifting the first leaves before they mat down and smother the turf. Autumn is when a lawn quietly decides what condition it will be in come April, so the closing cuts of the year carry as much weight as the opening ones. The measure of a good afternoon on these streets is plain enough: nothing left on the walk, nothing blown into the gutter, and a clean line where the grass stops and the concrete begins.
