Front Yard Clippers & Handyman Services

About Front Yard Clippers & Handyman Services

By seven on a June morning the dew is still sitting on the front lawns off Monroe Street and no other mower has started anywhere in town. Front Yard Clippers & Handyman Services keeps to that hour: cool air, soft ground, the first stripe laid straight down the middle of a yard and everything after it falling in line. There is real pleasure in the edge — the crisp seam where turf stops and sidewalk begins, trimmed close along the walk, clippings blown back into the grass instead of out into the street. Waterloo's small lots reward that kind of attention, because a tidy front yard reads all the way from the corner. Come August the cutting height rises, the heat gets respected, and the lawns hold their green into the shortening evenings.
