The Kiel Company

About The Kiel Company

Wednesday, mid-morning, the middle of July: somewhere in Waterford a lawn is getting its weekly cut, and odds are decent The Kiel Company is the one cutting it. This is the steady-heartbeat kind of lawn care — a route of village yards and outlying properties mowed on rhythm, trimmed and edged the same careful way every visit, so no lawn ever gets the chance to look neglected. Waterford's mix of old village blocks and newer lots means every stop asks something a little different, from tight gates and garden beds to wide open turf. The reward of the routine is cumulative: by August the lawns on the route look like they have been kept all along, because they have. The Kiel Company mows in Waterford, Rochester, North Cape, and Wind Lake.
