About Earth Sense Garden Center & Landscaping

Several of Washburn's historic downtown buildings were raised from brownstone quarried along this shore, and those rust-red walls glow warm when the late spring sun finally reaches them. May arrives slowly this far north, but when it comes the lawns rise in a rush of new color against all that red stone. Earth Sense Garden Center & Landscaping provides lawn care for the yards of this Lake Superior town, mowing, trimming and edging as the season catches up with itself. A first cut of the year done properly is a deep pleasure: uniform height, tidy borders, the smell of grass mixing with cool air drifting up from the lake. Spring is short and precious here, and a lawn in good order lets a household make the most of it.
