Richardson Lawn Care and Snow Removal

About Richardson Lawn Care and Snow Removal

West of Verona the land lifts into the old glacial ridge, and when January wind comes down off those open fields it carries the snow sideways until it stacks against every driveway in town. That is the hour Richardson Lawn Care and Snow Removal keeps — four in the morning, headlights on a white road, the plow finding pavement one pass at a time. By the time the coffee is poured and the garage door goes up, the drive is a clean rectangle of asphalt with the banks squared off at both ends. In summer the same ground goes green and the work turns to mowing and edging, cut lines running straight across the yard like the rows in the fields beyond it. Snow removal and lawn care here are two halves of one Wisconsin year, and both get shown up for.
