About Dreger Lawn & Landscape

Walk the older streets off Verona's Main on an evening in June and you pass under maples planted by people who never saw the town this size, past yards that show exactly how much attention they get. Dreger Lawn & Landscape works those yards and the newer ones too — mowing, trimming, bed work, mulch, the spring and fall cleanups that bracket a Wisconsin growing year. Down by Fireman's Park the pond throws light around until late, and the grass along its edge is cut close and even. Come January the crew is out at four in the morning with a blade down, opening drives and walkways while the streetlights still have the town to themselves. It is one continuous job, really: keeping the ground under a house in good order, whatever it happens to be covered in.
