About Capitol Lawn Sprinkler Inc

The Sugar River begins near here as cold water pushing up out of the ground, which is a good thing to remember in July when Verona lawns are asking for every drop they can get. Capitol Lawn Sprinkler Inc keeps grass green through the weeks when the sun clears the ridge at five and doesn't let go until nine — mowing, feeding, cutting weeds back, opening compacted soil so water sinks in instead of running off. A lawn that holds its color in the hottest stretch of a Verona summer is not luck; it is a hundred small decisions about height and timing. Come September the same yards go deep green again almost overnight, and October brings the leaves and the last cuts of the year. Then the whole thing rests, the way this country does, and waits for April.
