About Shavin & Slippin Outdoors LLC

Beneath the Lake Michigan bluffs at Two Creeks lies a spruce forest that rising lake water and advancing ice buried some twelve thousand years ago, and the cold that did the burying still finds its way back every winter. Shavin & Slippin Outdoors LLC answers it with snow removal, pushing snow off driveways and scraping walkways down to bare pavement. Storms here come in off the big water on a hard wind, heaping drifts against fence lines and mailbox posts along the shore roads. There's a laugh tucked into the company's name, yet the result is all business: a lane cut wide, the banks shoved well back, nothing left underfoot to slip on. By the time sunrise turns the lake red, nothing stands between the garage and the road.
