About Emerald Forestry And Landscaping LLC

In October the tamarack bogs around Tomahawk turn the color of a struck match, and the red pine stays dark behind them. Emerald Forestry And Landscaping LLC keeps lawns going through the short green season that runs between ice-out and the first hard frost: weekly mowing, trimming along stone and stump and post, edging where turf meets gravel. Out here a lawn is a clearing the woods would happily take back, so the line between mowed and wild is one somebody has to keep drawing. Cleanups in spring lift the mat of needles and blown leaves; cleanups in fall bring the yard down to bare turf before the ground locks. The reward is small and real — a clean sweep of green in the middle of Somo and Wisconsin river country.
