About Bertram's Landscaping LLC

Winter wind comes across the open flats around Tomah with nothing to slow it, and by four in the morning a driveway that was clear at midnight can be drifted shut again. Bertram's Landscaping LLC is out in that hour with the plow down, opening drives and lots and shoveling the walks so the first person out the door has somewhere to put a boot. By June the same properties call for the other half of the trade — mowing, trimming and edging on a steady route, the grass kept even through the long western Wisconsin daylight. Both jobs come down to the same instinct: get there before it becomes a problem, and leave the place looking handled. A plowed drive at dawn and a cut lawn at dusk are two versions of the same quiet favor.
