About Woodward Outdoor Services

Along the shaded edges of the town of Texas the maples close in over the road, and the lawns beneath them are a different animal — thin, cool, slow to dry, full of roots that surface where you least want them. Woodward Outdoor Services reads that ground carefully, mowing a touch higher under the canopy, trimming close around trunks without scarring bark, and keeping the edges honest where turf gives way to woods. September is the season that shows the work best, when low gold light comes sideways through the branches and a cut lawn glows against the dark timber behind it. Walks and drives get blown clean of clippings and leaf litter before the truck leaves. It is quiet work at the boundary of yard and forest, and it looks like it belongs there when it is done right.
