About Turf Lake Country LLC

September in the Town of Lisbon smells like cut hay and drying corn, and by five o'clock the sun comes in low and gold across the field edges. That's the kindest stretch of the year for turf around Sussex — cool nights over warm soil — so Turf Lake Country LLC spends it aerating, overseeding and feeding lawns that spent all of August under pressure. The weekly mowing carries on too, a notch higher now, with the edges recut and the beds tidied. Come October the leaves start and keep coming, load after load, until the grass stands clear again. Everything done in these few weeks is really an investment in how the yard looks next June.
