BMH Lawn Service

About BMH Lawn Service

The Bugline Trail runs its old rail bed straight through Sussex, crushed limestone underfoot, and the yards backing up to it get a lot of quiet company all summer. Late in the afternoon, when the light goes long and low across Waukesha County, BMH Lawn Service is still out finishing a route — blades sharp, clippings thrown even, the last pass laid down straight. There is a particular satisfaction in a lawn cut at the right height in July, green all the way down instead of scalped and yellowing. Spring cleanups pull winter out of the beds; fall cleanups take the maple leaves down to bare turf before the ground locks up. Trimming, edging and seeding fill the weeks in between.
