Madison Snow Removal

About Madison Snow Removal

On a clear winter afternoon you can pick out the Capitol dome from the high ground southwest of Sun Prairie, small and white above the fields — and when the sky closes in from that direction, the storm is usually about an hour out. Madison Snow Removal reads those afternoons and gets set: plowing driveways and lots, clearing walks and steps by hand where a blade won't fit, salting the shaded stretches that never quite dry. Storms here tend to come with wind, so the pass that really counts is the one made after the drifting settles down. A cleared walk means a mail carrier, a delivery, a neighbor who doesn't go down on the ice. That is worth being awake for at three in the morning.
