Bristol Lawn Care

About Bristol Lawn Care

East and north of Sun Prairie the land lifts into long glacial ridges, drumlins all running the direction the ice went, with county roads laid over them and open sky the whole way out to Bristol. Bristol Lawn Care works both sides of that country — town lots on a mowing rotation, and deeper properties where the grass runs to the fence line and the wind never entirely quits. Mowing, trimming, edging, spring and fall cleanups: the list is plain, and the doing of it well is the craft. On the ridge properties the mower lines pull long and straight, and holding them square across an acre is its own quiet pleasure. In town it comes down to details — a close pass at the mailbox post, a clean seam where lawn meets walk.
