About Ahlswede Inc.-Property Services

Third Avenue wakes up slowly — brick storefronts, the smell of the water two blocks down, shopkeepers sweeping their own stretch of sidewalk. Ahlswede Inc.-Property Services keeps the grounds around places like these in order, mowing and edging through the green months and clearing snow and ice from walks and lots when the season turns hard. A sidewalk salted before the doors open is invisible work, and so is a lawn that simply looks right every week without anyone having to think about it. Sturgeon Bay's weather swings between the bay on one side and the lake on the other, and the schedule bends to whatever the sky is doing. What stays constant is the finish: straight lines in summer, bare pavement in winter.
