About Nature's Touch Inc.

In March the sandhill cranes come back to the marshy ground toward Koshkonong, and their rattling call carries for miles across fields that are still half-frozen. Nature's Touch Inc. reads the year by signals like that — when the frost lets go, when the turf is dry enough to walk on, when a first cut can happen without tearing. Then comes the long green stretch: mowing, trimming, edging, cleanups, a lawn kept the way this valley's soil will let it be kept. At the other end of the calendar there is snow, and drives and walks opened while it is still coming down sideways. The rhythm suits the place, which has never done anything by halves.
