About The Earth is The Lord's Lawn Care

Stone Lake is lake country in every direction — spring-fed water, tall pine, cranberry marsh going crimson at the end of September — and tending a lawn here feels close to tending something larger. The Earth is The Lord's Lawn Care approaches it that way: as stewardship. The crew mows and trims lakeside yards and in-town lots along the Sawyer and Washburn county line, keeps the edges kind, and clears the needle-fall and leaf-drop that the northwoods delivers in quantity. Grass grows slower under this much shade and this short a season, which only makes each cut count more. What is asked of the work is faithfulness, week by week; what comes of it is a green place worth sitting still in.
