Plaski & Sons Lawncare & Snow

About Plaski & Sons Lawncare & Snow

Two in the morning on the county roads west of Stevens Point, out past Junction City and Milladore, and the headlights find nothing but blowing white and the occasional mailbox. Plaski & Sons Lawncare & Snow runs those hours — plowing driveways and farm lanes, opening the walk to the door, spreading salt or sand where the ice has set up hard. Storms in this part of Wisconsin drift as much as they fall, so a lane cleared at midnight can want a second pass by six. The work happens while everybody else is asleep, which is precisely the point of it. Morning comes, and the way out is simply there.
