About Turf Management Specialties

Green-up in northwest Wisconsin happens all at once. The frost leaves the ground, one warm week shows up, and the lawns of St. Croix Falls go from gray to a color that nearly hurts to look at. Turf Management Specialties is out at the front of that stretch — mowing from the very first cut, trimming, edging, keeping the cleanups ahead of the growth instead of chasing it. Dew still on the blades at seven in the morning, stripes laid straight across a yard that was matted flat a month ago. Watching a lawn come back and keeping it even all the way to the last cut is the most satisfying part of the whole calendar.
