About Just In Time Landscaping

By the second week of June, St. Croix Falls smells like cut grass and river water at the same time. Just In Time Landscaping keeps the yards above Washington Street and out along the county roads on a steady rhythm — mowed, trimmed, edged clean where the turf meets the walk. A lawn looks its best in the hour before supper, when the light comes sideways up the valley and the mower stripes show like corduroy. Trimming close around posts and stone, blowing the clippings off the drive, hauling the week's cuttings away so nothing is left behind but grass. The result is a yard that looks tended rather than merely cut, and in a river town that reads all the way from the street.
