Gary's seasonal maintenance lawn care

About Gary's seasonal maintenance lawn care

October in Spooner smells like jack pine and first frost, and that is when the season turns over — mowers cleaned and put away, plows bolted on. Gary's seasonal maintenance lawn care lives inside that turning: lawn mowing and upkeep through the warm months, snow plowing and removal once the lakes skin over with ice. Out here between Spooner Lake and the pine barrens, winter is not an interruption but half the year, and treating it that way is the whole trick. Summer work is measured in clean cuts; winter work is measured in a driveway open to the road while the stars are still out. Gary's covers Spooner along with Shell Lake, Sarona, Trego, and Minong.
