About 608 Landworx LLC

The 608 takes in a lot of Wisconsin, and here it means sand flats on one side of the village and coulee walls on the other. 608 Landworx LLC works Holmen at both ends of the calendar: mowing, trimming and edging while the grass is pushing, then plowing and shoveling once the same ground goes hard and white. There is a particular pleasure in an open driveway at six in the morning, before a single car door has closed anywhere on the block. Come July it is a mown line held dead straight past the mailbox and out to the road. Two kinds of work, one stretch of ground, learned twice a year.
