About Croixland Outdoors LLC

The name points to the river, and the river shapes the work: this is St. Croix country, where the land tips down through the hardwoods toward the water and every yard sits on a slope of its own. Croixland Outdoors LLC mows and trims through the long green stretch of the year, holding a sharp border along the driveways and walks and pulling the leaf drift out of the beds each fall. Come winter the same terrain gets read in reverse — pitched drives plowed open, steps shoveled where ice likes to gather, salt laid so the first footfall of the morning is a sure one. There is a real satisfaction in a property that looks tended in July and stays reachable in January. That, held together across the whole calendar, is the job.
