About Bell Excavating, INC.

Summer in Somerset belongs to the Apple River, when inner tubes drift past the village in long, lazy chains. By January that same water runs hushed beneath its ice, and attention turns to driveways and lots heaped with the night's snowfall. Bell Excavating, INC. handles snow removal here, pushing each storm off the pavement and setting the banks well back where they won't crowd the lane. There is real pride in a lot scraped bare to its painted lines, the blade's last pass leaving a straight, dark seam against the white. When the next front slides over from the St. Croix valley, the plow drops again and Somerset gets its ground back.
