About Hilbelink's Lawn Care, LLC

Out where the land opens between Sheboygan and Oostburg, snow does not so much fall as travel — a northeast wind lifts it off the stubble fields and lays it back down across every driveway in one long white bar. Hilbelink's Lawn Care, LLC works both halves of that country: mowing, trimming, edging and spring and fall cleanups while the fields are green, plowing, shoveling and spreading salt when they are not. Drifted snow has to be pushed back far on the first pass or there is nowhere to put the next storm. That kind of thinking ahead is most of winter out here. The rest of the year, it is the plain pleasure of a straight cut across a wide open lawn.
