About Adava Landscaping

Spring is slow to reach this shoreline; Lake Michigan keeps its cold well into May, and Sheboygan lawns green up a couple of weeks behind the farm fields west of town. Adava Landscaping waits it out and then works steadily through the long season that follows — mowing, string trimming, edge work, and the yard clearing that opens spring and closes fall. There is a particular satisfaction in that first cut of the year on a street like Indiana Avenue, when the lilacs are just breaking and the yard finally looks like someone lives there. From then on it is a weekly return, each visit leaving the grass even and the borders honest. By October the same hands are raking the last of it toward winter.
